Abstract
A mirror mounting for use with interferometers is described which enables the rotational adjustments of the optical surface to be made about axes passing through the center of that surface. This feature resulted in considerable simplification of the adjustment of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer in which it was used. Some special properties of the mounting are mentioned.
