Abstract

A circulating loop providing for the examination of the infrared spectrum of corrosive gas mixtures is described. Its uses are illustrated by the study of the xenon–fluorine reaction and by the determination of saturated vapor pressure of uranium hexafluoride at pressures below 1 cm of mercury.
