Effective optical constants of anisotropic silver nanoparticle films with plasmonic properties: erratum

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

This erratum reports a correction to Fig. 5 in the original manuscript, Opt. Lett. 41, 5495 (2016) [CrossRef]  .

The extinction coefficients in Fig. 5 of [1] were erroneously plotted on the scale of the left hand axis rather than on the right hand axis, as had been intended. The figure is corrected as follows, and this correction has no impact on the conclusions made in the manuscript.

 figure: Fig. 5.

Fig. 5. Effective optical constants (n = ϵ) of the Ag OAD86° film compared with a 100 nm planar film. The schematic in the top left corner shows the orientation of the major polarizability axes a and c with respect to the laboratory frame.
