Abstract
In a tiled-grating system, it is difficult to make two tiled gratings strictly coplanar. We propose and demonstrate for the first time, as far as we know, a simple method by which the longitudinal piston error between two tiled gratings can be reduced below , close to the influence of the environmental factors. The alignment precision of the method increases with the tiled-grating system’s stability to environmental factors.
