Abstract
Two-dimensional quantitative images of the density of chlorine in a supersonic expansion are produced with an of 5% in 150-μm pixels by using optical absorption tomography. An incoherent arc-lamp source absolute accuracy provides ample ultraviolet radiation for high-resolution optical absorption tomographic measurements. A measurement of the chlorine absorption coefficient is reported.
