A number of erratums are presented to correct the inadvertent typing mistakes in our paper.

In our paper [1], some invadvertent typing errors have been found and corrected as below. Ref. 2 should be corrected as “S. F. Liu, G. Xia, J. G. Xia, and Z. M. Wu, “Improving chaotic carrier fundamental frequency in VCSELs with optical feedback by strong light injection,” Acta Physica Sinica 57(3), 1502-1505 (2008) (In Chinese)”. Ref. 10 should corrected as “D. Z. Zhong and Z. M. Wu, “Manipulation of the vector chaotic polarization of VCSEL output with external optical feedback by electro-optic modulation,” Acta Physica Sinica 61(3), 154-163(2012) (In Chinese)”. The term E*Mx should be corrected as E*Sx in Eq. (23).The Eq. (23) should be read:
Besides, the equation numbers (20), (21), (22), (23) and (24), in turn, should be corrected as (19), (20), (21), (22) and (23). Simultaneously, in the first paragraph of page 7 of the paper, the statement “The spontaneous emission noise terms in Eqs. (1) and (20) are ignored in the following calculation” should be corrected as” The spontaneous emission noise terms in Eqs. (1) and (21) are ignored in the following calculation”. In the Aconwledgements, the satement “the National Nature Science Foundation of China (NSFC)” should be corrected as “National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)”.References and links
