Modulation of the Nonlinear Spectrum in Experiment

Abstract

Lab implementation of nonlinear frequency division multiplexing (NFDM) with modulation of continuous and discrete part of the spectrum indicates increased sensitivity to perturbation. Simulations allow to attribute this to noise enhancement in the NFDM demultiplexer.
