FROG Measurement of Femtosecond Pulses Propagating through Water

Abstract

We describe measurements of the spectrogram of femtosecond pulses, propagating between 5-700mm in distilled water. The observed pulse breakup is qualitatively related to points of stationary phase and related to possible precursor activity.
