Mimicking photon propagation through 2-D array by a 1-D array

Abstract

Photon propagation through 2-D arrays has been studied for various applications. Here we show that an appropriately chosen and easily realizable one dimensional waveguide array can mimic the photon propagation through a two dimensional array.
