Abstract
The angular dependence of simultaneous multibeam coupling in photorefractive BaTiO3 is studied theoretically and experimentally.
It is found out that the amount of gain that each signal receives depends strongly on the angular configuration of the incoming beams relative to the c-axis and relative to each other. The competitive interaction of. the gratings from different signals causes some signals to receive larger energy increments as others. Moreover, crosstalk between the signals can be modified by changing the incoming angles.
