Abstract
We will present here a rather unorthodox application of low angle light scattering to the study of non-equilibrium (n.e.) fluctuations. As we shall see, light scattering can be pushed to such small scattering angles that it takes over in a continuous fashion where the more traditional optical techniques designed to map phase disturbancies (schlieren, shadograph, etc.) become less desirable.
