Abstract
We use our novel hyperspectral NIRS technique in studies of functional brain activity, mild traumatic brain injury, and cerebral monitoring in cardiac arrest patients. The technique appears to be more sensitive to cerebral hemodynamic changes than the multispectral NIRS, capable to directly assess neuronal oxygen metabolism.
