New Lidar Atmospheric Observatory

Abstract

A new atmospheric lidar observatory has been established during the last year as part of the research program of the Institute for Space and Terrestrial Science. The observatory is located on the campus of York University in the northwestern part of Toronto. (43.8 N, 79.5 W) and is intended to provide a comprehensive capability for lidar measurements of the atmosphere.
