Abstract
Chalcogenide glasses are promising materials for photonic applications due to their unique properties and functionalities. In this paper, we review these properties and demonstrate their applications in extremely high-resolution lithography and the fabrication of diffractive elements for VIS and IR spectral region. Their application in all-optical signal processing is also discussed.
