A 4×112Gbps Compact Polarization-Insensitive Silicon Photonic WDM Receiver

Abstract

A 4×112Gbps polarization-insensitive silicon photonic WDM receiver with a two-dimensional grating coupler, cascaded dual-ring filters and bidirectional photodiodes is demonstrated. A polarization-dependent loss of 0.45dB is achieved.
