Super Wide-Flat Beam Transmission over Scatter-prone Underwater Channel Using Twin Parallel Flat-Narrow Beams Generated by Aspheric Lens Pair-type Beam Shaper

Abstract

Our experiments demonstrate that the use of a twin flat-narrow beam system with time-domain hybrid PAM signals in underwater channels of up to 4 m significantly improves the elastic transmission capacity from 625-Mbps to 1.25-Gbps.
