Wideband FTTR PON Integrating Optical Wireless Access

Abstract

Symmetric 10 Gb/s wired access is shown in co-existence with 15 Gb/s optical wireless and 1.9 Gb/s visible-light communication. Shortwave-blind FTTR operation and robust few-mode transmission over installed fiber loops are demonstrated.
