Semi-Analytical Methodology for Advanced Filter Design in Chirped-Managed Lasers

Abstract

We introduce a novel semi-analytical method for the deterministic design of advanced optical filters in chirped-managed lasers (CMLs), enhancing transmission reach for access networks. This approach can be applied to any baud rate of NRZ and PAM-4, overcoming previous trial-and-error methods.
