110.7-Tb/s Single-Mode-Fiber Transmission over 1040 km with High-Symbol-Rate 144-GBaud PDM-PCS-QAM Signals

Abstract

We demonstrate a 110.7-Tb/s net bitrate over 13×80-km low-water-peak G.652.D fiber transmission using a hybrid backward Raman amplifier and TDFA/EDFA in 18.3-THz triple-band WDM with an average 907.6-Gb/s/λ channel rate for 122-channel 144-GBaud PDM-PCS-16/64QAM signals.
