Abstract

A mobile free-space optical system is experimentally demonstrated with high-speed beam stabilizer and 2D-photodetector array-based diversity receiver. In the 2.1-m line-of-sight link, the 400-mm/s zigzag-moving transmitter successfully transmits the 40-Gbit/s PAM-4 within 7% FEC criterion.
