Enabling Endogenous DAS in P2MP Digital Subcarrier Coherent Transmission System with Enhanced Frequency Response

Abstract

We propose an endogenous DAS in P2MP digital subcarrier coherent transmission systems. By redesigning and reusing FrFT-based synchronization pilots, vibrations up to 12 kHz are successfully detected over 10-km-long fiber, along with 100-Gb/s 16QAM transmission.
