Abstract

We demonstrate an inband real-time C-OFDR distributed acoustic sensing system over 2000 km (NZ-DSF) submarine cable without Bragg-reflector loopbacks. We achieve 2 ms update for phase and 200m spatial resolution with zero induced penalty on live transceivers.
