Span Order Dependency for Nonlinear Interference Noise over In-homogeneous Multispan O-band Coherent Transmission

Abstract

Coherent O-band transmission was conducted in the nonlinear regime. For spans with an in-homogeneous zero dispersion wavelength, the amount and spectral content of nonlinear interference noise was found to be dependent on span order.
