Closed-form coherent Gaussian noise model applicable to arbitrary flexible grid and heterogeneous links

Abstract

A closed-form expression of the coherent contribution of Gaussian noise nonlinear interference is presented. This model shows good agreement with a complete Gaussian noise model and a split-step model and applies in arbitrary link configurations.
