Perturbative Nonlinear Pre-Compensation in Presence of Optical Filtering

Abstract

We study the performance of perturbative nonlinear pre-compensation algorithm in presence of in-line optical filtering, by numerical and experimental investigations. We show that optical filtering can severely degrade the performance of perturbative nonlinear pre-compensation.
