Abstract

We propose an optoelectronic method for distributed compensation of XPM based on power-dependent phase rotation. Simulations show 2.7-dB improvement in peak Q for a 28-Gbaud QPSK channel with 14-Gbit/s NRZ-OOK neighbors after 3200-km transmission.
