Measurement of Mode Dependent Loss of Randomly-Coupled Multi-Core Fiber using Scrambling Method

Abstract

We propose measurement of MDL of RC-MCF by scrambling method and present a low MDL of 0.04 dB can be measured and RC-MCF has low MDL of ≤ 0.05 dB at 97.9km length.
