Abstract

A 1.1 Gb/s, 6-channel optical transmitter module and receiver module, each with a packaged size of 2.2 cc, were developed using external-element-free 1-chip ICs. A wide receiver dynamic range of 14.5 dB has been achieved during 6-channel simultaneous operation.
