Abstract

Radiation-induced absorption spectra are analyzed in germanosilicate fibers with different GeO₂-content (3.5–50 mol%) under gamma-irradiation at different temperatures. GeY-center peaking at ~1.38 eV is resolved for the first time. GeY- and GeX-center properties are compared.
