Abstract

To keep pace with the trend towards increased electronic circuit integration, printed circuit patterns are becoming denser and more complex. During the manufacturing process, visual inspection is often required to detect a variety of printed circuit defects. Interest in automating visual inspection is motivated by the desire to reduce manufacturing costs, improve product reliability, and standardize inspection quality.
