Abstract

We describe FPAs based on planar-geometry Geiger-mode avalanche photodiodes designed for single-photon 3D LIDAR imaging systems. We compare new 32×128×50µm format FPAs with 32×32×100µm FPAs for dark count rate, crosstalk performance, and overall pixel yield.
