Single-shot detection technique for pulsed terahertz radiation with low repetition rate

Abstract

The spectral-encoding technique, one of the single-shot techniques for waveform measurement of pulsed terahertz (THz) radiation is reviewed. Distortions of the signals measured by this technique and the corresponding strategies to reduce them are presented.
