Abstract
The study of solute-solvent intersections is of critical importance for the understanding of reactivity since most chemical reactions take place in solution [1 ]. A class of reactions of special interest are those involving intramolecular charge transfer in polar solvents, because the interaction between the strong resulting dipole of the solute and the surrounding solvent molecules may influence the chemical pathways [2].
