Lens-Assisted Two-Dimensional Receiver Based on Grating Array for Wide Angle Detection

Abstract

We propose a receiver based on a two-dimensional silicon grating array for guiding light into a single-mode waveguide. Experimentally, a high field-of-view of ±10°; and a power gain of 52 dB were achieved.
