Abstract
We demonstrated a γ-ray source with high brightness (2.3×1019 photons/s-mrad2-mm2-0.1% bandwidth) and high photon energy (1.3 MeV) in an all optical setup. Measurements were in excellent agreement with predictions of an inverse Compton scattering model.
