Abstract
Inertial confinement fusion research using the OMEGA Laser has demonstrated the highest deuterium–tritium areal density ever measured, ~0.3 g/cm2, and a Lawson’s performance parameter, Pτ, comparable to that obtained on the Joint European Torus.
