Abstract

During phase A of the development of the airborne pulsed CO2 laser-Doppler system WIND [1] a lot of scientific objectives were studied. The intension for the airborne system is — to use it for wind field measurements— to use the experience during the development and test phase for further development of a spaccborne lidar.
