Monolithic electronics in Silicon Photonics for time-multiplexed sensing and control

Abstract

We report on the monolithic cointegration of CMOS electronics in a commercial Silicon Photonics technology and show how this approach enables time-multiplexed feedback control of large-scale optical circuits using a limited number of electrical signals.
