Abstract

A wavelength-encoded optofluidic sensor is fabricated by aligning a tapered optical fiber in lateral contact with a liquid-filled silica capillary. Preliminary experiment demonstrates its capability of molecular microRNA quantification with detection limit less than 2nM.
