Bend Insensitive W-type Single Mode Fiber with 30µm Mode Field Diameter

Abstract

Bend insensitive LMA W-fiber was manufactured with 40 m core diameter NA0.03, M21.11. Transfer efficiency of the fundamental mode reached 88 through 5 m of the fiber. Attenuation, measured using cut-back method is 0.023 dBm.
