Abstract
Diamond Raman lasers have been the subject of increasing interest, with the exploitation of the material’s unrivalled thermo-mechanical properties enabled by recent advances in the growth of single crystal CVD diamond [1]. Raman lasers allow access to hard to reach, but commercially attractive wavelengths; however, they typically require additional external cavities involving additional optics and alignment.
