Abstract
Lasing modes control in semiconductor lasers is an important task for a number of practical applications. In LIDAR and AFAR systems, it can provide generation of a controlled sequence of laser pulses and modification of radiation pattern [1]. Implementation of switching modes optical bistability allows developing elements of all-optical signal processing systems such as all-optical memory and all-optical switching [2,3].
