Abstract
Precise mechanical control of grating pulse compressor in chirped pulse amplification system is of paramount importance in a wide range of application of high intensity femtosecond lasers, because the accurate pulse characterization and the reduced alignment tasks for attaining a tailored ultrashort pulse are desired We have proposed femtosecond automatic pulse compressor in chirped pulse amplifier using stepping motors and PZT driven actuators controlled by PC. Introducing the new parameters that are measured by SPIDER[1], a further improvement is obtainable
