Abstract
It is known that in the case of molecular media, which show rich emission spectra, the optical resonator can select several lines, line by line, like in the co 2 laser medium. Usually the lines appear in some "quasi-chaotic" order but their order can be predicted [1]. In our experiment it has been pointed out that co2 laser lines can appear in the natural order of the co2 emission spectrum. It was found that the longitudinal tuning of the co2 laser could give a well-ordered laser signature - the WOLS effect. As we showed, also other sophisticated signatures are possible.
