Abstract
Polymer Light Emitting Diodes (Polymer LEDs) is an interesting technology for flat and thin displays. The high brightness at low voltage, relatively low power consumption, high contrast and low viewing angle dependence combined with a low thickness makes this an extremely attractive option for flat and thin displays. Basic technology and application in segmented and matrix displays will be discussed.
