Abstract
The nonlinear-optical character of nanosecond- pulsed optical parametric oscillator (OPO) devices facilitates control of their signal and idler outputs. A versatile, practical way to do this is injection seeding, with low-power external source(s) of tunable radiation separating the OPO’s wavelength-control function from that of power amplification.
