Abstract
Partial least squares (PLS) analysis can extract absorption, reduced-scattering, and concentration information from frequency-domain photon migration (FDPM) data of turbid samples. Boundary effects are modeled without using diffusion theory. Measurements have been performed in an infinite geometry and also through a 1-crn cuvette.
