Vector-based polarization analysis for optical coherence tomography

Abstract

A vector-based analysis yielding birefringence, diattenuation, and optic axis orientation is applied to images acquired with high-speed fiber-based polarization- sensitive optical coherence tomography. Data from chicken tendon and a polarizing sheet are presented and validated.
