A Simple Method to Measure the Group Delay of Chirped Fiber Gratings in Polarization-Maintaining Fiber

Abstract

The group delay dispersion of chirped fiber Bragg gratings written in polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber is measured by launching light in both polarization states and measuring the reflected light through a fiber polarizer.
