Comparison of Iterative Field Reconstruction Schemes for IM/DD PAM4 Signal Transmission

Abstract

Iterative field reconstruction for electrical dispersion compensation in PAM4 IM/DD transmission system is studied. It is shown that using transmitted signal constraint in the Gerchberg-Saxton iteration algorithm is effective in enhancing the convergence speed. © 2021 The Author(s)
